“Iligai” and “Ikigai”

We all know the folk song “Iligai”, one of the most valuable melodies that we have heard since childhood and grew out of the national ideal. “Iligai” is a melodious voice of our people in the vastness of the steppe, full of high and deep feelings.
All you have to do is listen to the lyrics and you will understand how you really miss, love and feel. Obviously, the song itself explains to your heart. The knees are full of excitement, and the mood is full of excitement. And what about “Ikigai” in Japanese? Aside from genetic unity, the two nations have much in common, with an emphasis on inner purity and human values. How did the concept of “ikigai” come about? Story (Japanese legend) “One day a woman died in a Japanese town. His soul, leaving his body, meets the spirits of his ancestors in the arms of heaven. Someone inside shouted, “Who are you?” – he asks. “I am the mayor’s wife,” he replied. – I did not ask you who your husband is. Tell me, who are you? ‘ – I am a mother of four children and a school teacher. – How many children do you have, where did you work? Did I ask a question? Says a mysterious voice. Thus, the struggle with unexpected questions continues until the woman’s spirit says, “I wake up every day to take care of my family and educate my children at school.” After that answer, his soul returned to his body and was healed. This is how a woman finds her “Two”. Ikigai It is difficult to translate the word “Ikigai” in Kazakh from the Japanese point of view. But it can be understood as “the essence of human life, a phenomenon that motivates us to wake up in the morning with joy.” In other words, ikigai is a concise definition of your main interest in the concept of the East, the reasons that bring joy to your life. Although the people of the island of Okinawa have long accepted this concept as the basis of their philosophy, for the West, “Ikigai” is not a completely strange world. We see this when we look at the careers of people who have achieved a lot in their lives. For example, “We would rush to get back to work the next morning,” says Wilbur Wright, the inventor of the plane. And Steve Jobs, the founder of the famous Apple, said: “Do what you love. Doing so will surely lead you to success. I always looked in the mirror in the morning and asked myself: if today was the last day of my life, I would come back, what would I like to do? “If I keep repeating the word ‘no’ every day in response, it’s a sign that I need to build my life differently.” The desire to live, to do their job diligently at the highest level – teaches people self-esteem, satisfaction and the meaning of life. According to the Japanese, people who have found their “ikigai” are always free from depression, always eager to make optimistic decisions, and are not interested in bad habits. Therefore, every human being who wants to live a long and meaningful life should find his own “ikigai” that will replace the morning sleep. And in the song “Iligai” there are lines that say: “… If you stand up, I am yours, my soul is a sacrifice, this is my secret, I give my heart”. The default love secret. Interaction, two unbroken threads. This testimony of Sertesu, which is included in the song, urges the children of the steppe to abide by the requirements of unity and the lofty ideals of love. Therefore, it is inappropriate to call the two concepts similar only in terms of sound, “Iligai” and “Ikigai” – the principles of education, the main forms of life, and then the perfection.
