10 billion tenge has been allocated for the fund of socially important medicines in Almaty. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of Almaty Karlygash Abdizhabbarova.
“A stabilization fund for medicines and medical devices has been established in Almaty. It has been allocated 10 billion tenge from the local budget, which will allow to form the necessary stock of 69 products by February 2021, “Abdizhabbarova said.
According to him, the main purpose of the fund is to provide private pharmacies and hospitals with medicines in social demand.
“5 billion tenge is provided under the Stabilization Fund to provide inpatient facilities at the rates set by the general fund of medical devices, of which 2.9 billion tenge will be spent on the purchase of drugs for infectious diseases and pharmacy hospitals, 893 million tenge – for the clinic network. The remaining 1.2 billion tenge will be used to create a fund of personal protective equipment for health workers and other inpatient drugs in high demand, “said Karlygash Abdizhabbarova, Deputy Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of Almaty.
